O.  Determing the Winner
    

     2. When two or more players, who are finalists and who will receive an award, are tied with the same
         score at the end of the Tournament, the following procedures will be used
 to break the tie between
         players and arrive at one winner: (1) the total number of games won
 will be given first consideration; 
         next,
 (2) how the two opponents fared against each other; and lastly, (3) how the players fared
         against other opponents in their division, starting with the highest-finishing opponent and working
         downward.
   These procedures will be employed in the listed order

There was a tie for 10th place.  Applying the tie-breaking rule 10th place was awarded to Timothy Irving.
Also there was a three way tie for 15th place.  15th place was awarded to Ernest Gates, 16th place to
Spencer Taylor and 17th place to Fred D. Shurn


There was a three way tie for 6th place.  Alexander McNair placed 6th, George Nichols placed
7th and Charles Smoke placed 8th.



There was a three way tie for 3rd place.  Following the tie breaker rule 3rd place was awarded to
Rufus Watts.  4th place was awarded to Tal Roberts and 5th place went to Arthur J. Bell.
There was a tie for 8th place and Larry Sealy was awarded 8th place and 9th place went to
General Owens.



There was a tie for 2nd place.  James Lyles placed 2nd, Joe Thomas placed 3rd.  There was
a three way tie for 6th place.  Howard Mcleod finished in 6th place, Charles Gladden finished
7th and Pee Wee Wise 8th.  There was a two way tie for 14th place.  Robert Firstlist was
awarded the 14th place and William Ham 15th. 



There was a two way tie for 11th place. Jackson finished 11th and Lester Goss 12th.
